Pat Wiltanger is a Physical Scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) in Pittsburgh, PA. He is both the Team Lead within the National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory's (NPPTL) Evaluation and Testing Brand (ETB) and the acting Quality Manager. He is responsible for overseeing both the post-market activities and the quality management system within the laboratory.
Prior to his current role, Pat worked approximately 10 years within the ETB's Conformity Verification Branch performing initial review and quality assurance activities. He also worked within the lab performing testing on both air-purifying and air-supplying respirator systems.
Pat holds a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh.
