Melissa Heike, MS, CSP

Melissa is a safety and health consultant with more than 30 years of experience. She holds a Master of Science degree in Safety Sciences from Indiana State University (IUP), is nationally recognized as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), and is a Professional Member of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP). Melissa is a member of the National Safety Council – Ohio Board of Directors where she holds the office of Vice President. She is an ANSI/ASSP Standards Committee Member for Z490 - Criteria for Accepted Practices in Safety, Health & Environmental Training. Melissa is an adjunct Professor for Thiel College, and an Adjunct Instructor for the West Virginia University Safety & Health Extension.

Throughout her career, Melissa has provided comprehensive health and safety support and services in a variety of business settings including steel production, metal fabrication and finishing, chemical manufacturing, oil and gas upstream and midstream processes, manufacturing and construction.
