W. Jon Williams, Ph.D., Research Physiologist, Research Branch, National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory, NIOSH/CDC subject matter expert in the physiological responses to thermal stresses especially in those wearing encapsulating PPE. Thirty-four years experience in conducting human experimental physiology first at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas and then at the NPPTL/NIOSH/CDC. Established the human physiology laboratory at the NPPTL, past chair of the AIHA Thermal Stress Working Group.
