John F. Kowalski, CSP, ASP

John Kowalski resides in Beaver, P.A. He is married 43 years with 3 children and 4 grandchildren. He is originally from New Kensington, P.A. and worked at a local steel mill to help pay his way through college.

He has a degree in Nuclear Engineering from Penn State University is a Certified Safety Professional. He spent his entire 45-year career in safety – Nuclear Safety 10 years, Industrial Safety 15 years and Human and Organizational Performance 20 years.  Over that period, he held positions with electric power generation stations – nuclear, coal, oil, gas and hydro-electric.

He is a recognized expert with diverse safety, human and organizational performance experience. He recently started his own company, Safety Performance and is currently providing consulting services to a large global metal manufacturing company.

John has coached girls’ softball from the minor league to the college level. He is the Safety Officer at the local fire department.
